Anoushka Shankar

Anoushka Shakar was the American and British sitar artist. She's the smallest woman and also the first woman to be awarded a British House of Commons shield. Anoushka Shankar is a rising young star of sitar music. Indian sitar. She is the daughter and pupil of Ravi Shankar. She was a child who bounded back and forth from London to New Delhi. As a teenager when her first performance was in New Delhi took place. When she moved to Encinitas California in 1999, she was awarded a high-school diploma. Anouskha is yet to be a mature woman however she's got an amazing career in singing and recording. For a long time she performs regularly alongside her father. She started learning to play the guitar when she was nine years old and played the sitar for the 75th anniversary of her father's birth in Delhi four years later. Anoushka was a part of her father throughout his global tour, gained a remarkable quantity of knowledge. As a teenager, she played at Carnegie Hall as part of Peter Gabriel's WOMAD and recorded alongside George Harrison. It is the House of Commons Shield was awarded in her honor by the British Parliament in recognition of being the most renowned Asian Arts musician. She is the only woman and the youngest winner of the distinction.
